Welcome to The Chai Center Preschool!
WELCOME

Dear Parents,

Thank you for giving us the privilege to educate your child.  We treasure the time we have with each student as we watch them and guide them on their journey of self-discovery and growth. We are having an incredible year in preschool!

In-house registration is now underway for our fall 2017-2018 school year.  We are happy to say The Chai Center Preschool is growing and the class sizes are limited.  Next year promises to be an exciting year with more parent involvement, afterschool enrichment programs and more school-wide activities. We encourage you to register early to reserve your child’s place.  Space and days are available on a first come first served basis.

Your child’s positive experience this year testifies to the success of our preschool in giving your child the best introduction to their educational journey.

Our nurturing, patient and experienced teachers provide tools to foster each child’s self-confidence and to facilitate meaningful interactions with their peers.  Our respective two, three and four-year-old (Pre-K) curricula are designed to build skills and knowledge needed to succeed in school.  In addition to learning “life skills” and forging friendships, we work on academic essentials through wonder, exploration and discovery.

I look forward to a continued successful partnership in your child’s education and growth next year.

            Thank you,
             Zoe Saacks

» Our Philosophy
The Chai Center provides a warm, nurturing, stimulating and supportive environment for young children ages 2-5 and their families. Our program, which is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education, incorporates a child-centered curriculum that respects the individuality of each child. Children are encouraged to use their senses to investigate, experiment and discover through hands-on-experiments and exploration. The Chai Center Preschool maintains a strong and positive image of the child. We believe that all children are capable and competent. Our program seeks to nurture a child’s curiosity, independence, sense of community and Jewish identity so that he or she will be prepared for the next stage of their personal and academic journey.
